Botox Treatment

Bluebonnet Dental Care provides BOTOX Cosmetic injections to patients in the Baton Rouge area who are seeking skin rejuvenation in addition to the finest dental care. Fine lines and deep wrinkles naturally form on the face as we age, a process that is only hastened by stress and exposure to the elements.

Dr. Jessica Bruni, a BOTOX-certified specialist, injects the BOTOX solution directly into the muscles responsible for facial wrinkling using a very small needle. This temporarily paralyzes the muscles, which causes them to relax and wrinkles and fine lines to become less visible. Side effects, including mild numbness, minor swelling and headaches, usually subside after a few days. In just a few minutes, you will be on your way to a younger appearance to match your beautiful smile.

*BOTOX is only offered at our Baton Rouge, LA office off Bluebonnet Blvd.

dental implants

Bluebonnet Dental Care provides dental implants and mini dental implants. Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural.

Dental implants are small titanium posts that are placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. In addition, implants can help preserve facial structure, preventing the bone deterioration that occurs when teeth are missing.

Once the implant is placed, the bone requires four to six months to heal. Once the implant has integrated, a support post and replacement tooth, bridge or denture is anchored onto the implant.

Bluebonnet Dental Care is proud to be a Premier Preferred Provider for Invisalign and has treated many patients with it. This means you can be confident that that our dentists have the knowledge and experience to help you achieve the straight smile you’ve dreamed about without having to wear traditional metal braces.

Invisalign straightens teeth to give you the confidence of a great smile. Using a series of clear, virtually invisible aligners, Invisalign gently and gradually moves your teeth based on your treatment plan and goals. There are no wires or brackets so you will have confidence in your smile during and after treatment. In fact, most people won’t even know you’re wearing Invisalign. Invisalign aligners are removable so you can eat whatever you want and easily brush and floss as you normally would.

*Invisalign is not provided at every office. Please contact your local Bluebonnet Dental Care office to see if it’s available.

teeth whitening

Teeth whitening (or bleaching) is a simple, non-invasive dental treatment used to change the color of natural tooth enamel and is an ideal way to enhance the beauty of your smile. Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of most patients, there are a number of ways to whiten teeth.

The most popular method is in-office power whitening which makes it possible to have a whiter, brighter smile in about an hour. Teeth can be up to 10 shades lighter in just one visit! Another method is using a home teeth whitening system that will also whiten teeth dramatically. Since teeth whitening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Teeth whitening are not permanent. A touch-up may be needed every few years, and more often if you smoke, drink coffee, tea or wine.
